nuninuninuninuninuni....

I can't think of any other title. A lot of things have happened during the week that passed..I don't even know what to blog about...

I had a trial make-up last saturday. I posted the whole story in our wedding blog. Please find the time to visit and view the pictures. I wish you'd comment on the make-up.

On Sunday, I was supposed to attend a wedding for the third day in a row. I attended a wedding in the same venue with the same caterer as ours. So I was excited. And our suppliers did not disappoint. And yes on saturday, Mhel's cousin's wedding. The third one was to be in Fontana but Odes and Wes decided to have Leisha's (oooppppsss Shay is scrapped from the nickname choices hehehe..) baptism on the same day.

Of course, I chose to be with my friends rather than just be an expectator in someone else's wedding. And besides, this affair was just postponed after Ate Fancie died. Leisha is my first godchild for this year.

We arrived at the church early. And it was a hot morning. I wore a 3/4 sleeved blouse thinking it would rain anyway. But I was wrong. I did not rain until after we're back in the apartment at 230pm!! I was melting.

Leisha surprised me. She's grown really big. As in. Compared to the last time we saw her, when she was still 6days old (almost 3 months ago), she's now fat and really really cute. Her family calls her Piggy and Lechon de Leche. And she's grumpy too, which makes her even more cute. All she does is sleep, drink milk, at magsimangot!! Pictures here.

Mhel and I also had the chance to talk to Odie's Dad, Tito Ding. We chose him to be one of our Principal Sponsors, and he gladly accepted.

At around 2pm we decided to leave and cut the chika moments because the heat was killing us. Wawa din ang baby. Mhel and I planned to watch Deuce Bigalow but later decided against it. The heat tired us too much I just wanted to lie and sleep.

When I woke up later on, my brothers wanted to dine out. But we couldn't leave until Susan (who's just arrived from the province a week ago) returns from mass (the church is a 5minute walk from the house). Yang said she left at 430pm. It was 6pm and she wasn't home yet. At 630, I was trying to reach her thru her mobile, no answer. I checked her room and found out she left her mobile at home...as well as her keys!!!! We were stuck at home and we were worried sick. At around 7pm, we were all hungry and decided to leave. We left a note for her with our neighbor's guard in case she returns while we were gone. We left and hoped against hope that she will find her way home, lest we will have to ask for the help of the police. Sheesh.

When we got home, we sighed in relief when we saw her with the guard. She approached me, face all red, and said "Sorry, ate, naligaw ako.." I wanted to laugh because she looked funny but I had to scold her anyway. She broke the number one house rule to always bring the door keys and never to leave the house without the mobile phone (this I imposed on her kasi nga bagong salta sa maynila). Well at least nothing bad happened to her.

Sunday night was the start of my tamad and depressed mode. I was supposed to have lunch with Mhel on Monday, but I cancelled it the last minute. And for three days now, I've been having problems dragging myself off my bed. Must be the weather. :(

Question

If I like you both...and you are both important, do I have to choose?

Especially if you don't get along? Rather, if you're not comfortable around each other?

Nah.

So to you, who understands the situation, thank you very much!

i'm back..well, kinda...

Last night, I finally found the time to bloghop and blog. Even before I got to the blogging part, my attention was directed to the links I found related to digiscrapping (see previous post eons ago...), and found a lot (I mean really lots of them!) of links where I can download elements and kits for free! And I painstakingly downloaded each kit. And before I knew it, it was midnight and we were closing down. Sigh. And I forgot to update my blog. Yet. Again.

So to my loyal readers (who probably have forgotten that this blog exists, hehehehhe), I present to you, my next two projects...my two not so perfect projects (I'm getting there!):

I had fun laying out these two projects! The first project features Joaquin and the second one is Adrian, nephew of my college bestgal, Odie.

Credits: (1) Joaquin's picture by jmcp, frame and round tags from midsummer swelter kit by Rina Kroes, Background paper by Jen Maceyunas (opacity was lowered), Eyelets by Lindsay Riches, Font Curlz MT; (2) Adrian's pictures by rss, All elements from Bannerwoman's Scrapbook Stop's Funday Kit, Goudy Stout Font for Adrian, Chiller Font for the text.

Wokei, done with that. For now. The past six weeks' happenings were made of different emotions and a lot of errands to do. That's why I've been "gone". I won't go into details anymore, just notes, I wouldn't want you to get bored (considering that I am boring enough, eheh).

One musical play watched. Footloose. With Daday. Free tickets. Thanks Ms. Amiat!

Overnight trip to foggy and stormy (scary too!) Baguio. Mommy's business trip.

Four deaths. A baby cousin due to SDS. Mommy's closest uncle due to cardiac arrest. Odie's aunt (who took care of us during our college days) to breast cancer. Mhel's cousin, a victim of a nonsense stampede.

Two weekends of frustrating Adidas Badminton Tourney. Wasted money. Chaka shirt.

Back and forth trip to GSIS Main Office. Every other day. For two weeks. Freaking loans accumulating interests. Geesh.

Every other day trip to Globe Tower 1. For 1 week. Availed Globe for good promo for three lines.

Never ending wedding preps. Slowed down a bit. But the ideas keep coming in my head.

Upper teeth brackets, gone. Agony of wearing retainers 24x7 (well, almost!) for the next six months.

Domestication since Manang left and after Jane ran-away. Conquered the kitchen. But Susan is now in da hawz!!!!

This is it for now. I ope I won't get lulled to hibernation again.

:)
